Kolkata College Street, both the side of the road bookstores are there and crowds of people, the only thing that comes to my mind while walking on the sidewalk is "Brothers / sisters, do you need a book, come to our shop". At 11 o'clock in the morning I got on the College Street going bus from Howrah. After crossing the road I started walking towards the Medical College, then I came to a crossroads and the Presidency College is in the opposite direction. After a while, I remembered the song written by Manna Dey at the Coffee House "where the golden afternoons were lost". Uttam Kumar and Kishore Kumar used to talk about black and white movies. I pulled out a chair and ordered coffee and fish kabiraji. After arranging it on the table, I put my lips on the cup and sipped the taste of this coffee which is so nostalgic. So after eating I went out and bought some books from the books store. After that, I started walking towards it in College Square. Every year I used to come to see idol of Maa Durga in Durga Pujo, a great place for learning swimming. From this place learned a lot. During the lunch time I came to the corner of College Street and entered Dilkhusha Cabin. I ate roti and mutton kosa which is a famous dish. After a while I came out and took the bus towards my house.

কলকাতা কলেজ স্ট্রিট সারি সারি বই এর দোকান মানুষ এর ভিড় ,ফুটপাথ দিয়ে জাবার সময় একটাই কথা বার বার কানে আসে " দাদা/দিদি কি বই লাগবে আমাদের দোকান এ আসুন " । সকাল ১১টা বাজে হাওড়া থেকে কলেজ স্ট্রিট বাস এ করে চলে এলাম, বাস থেকে রাস্তা পেরিয়ে মেডিকেল কলেজ এর দিকে রাস্তায় একটু হেটে যেতেই চোক পড়লো প্রেসিডেন্সি কলেজ তার ঠিক উল্টো দিক এ চলে চলে গেছে একটি রাস্তা দুই পাস্ এ সারি সারি বই এর দোকান, ওই রাস্তা দিয়ে একটু এগোলেই কফি হাউস মান্না দে এর লেখা গান তা মনে পরে গেলো " কফি হাউস এর সেই আড্ডা টা আজ র নেই আজ র নেই , কোথায় হারিয়ে গেল সোনালী বিকেল গুলো সেই আজ র নেই "  কফি হাউস উঠে গেলাম সিঁড়ি দিয়ে মনে পরে গেল পুরোনো দিন এর কথা সাদা কালো সিনেমা উত্তম কুমার , কিশোর কুমার আরো কতো । একটা চিয়ার টেনে বসলাম কফি এরসাথে ফিশ কবিরাজি অর্ডার করলাম । টেবিলে সাজিয়ে দিয়ে গেল একটু পরে, কাপ এ ঠোঁট লাগিয়ে চুমুক দিলাম এই কফি এর স্বাদ তাই আলাদা খাওয়া শেষ করে বেরিয়ে পড়লাম রাস্তায় কিছু বই কিনলাম ঘুরে ঘুরে ঘুরতে ঘুরতে ভাবতে থাকলাম কত লক্ষ লক্ষ বই আছে এই জায়গাটায়, কত দূরে দূরে বই যায় এইখান থেকে। বই কেনা শেষ করে কলেজ স্কয়ারে  এর দিকে এগোতে থাকলাম কত বড়ো সাঁতার শেখানোর জায়গা দূর্গা পুজোতে ঠাকুর দেখতে এসেছি অনেক বার আজ এমনি এই দুখলাম বেশ ভালোলাগলো উল্টোদিক এ কলকাতা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় একটু এগোলেই মেডিকেল কলেজ র এই দিক এ দুটো উচবিদ্যালয় হিন্দু এবং হেয়ার স্কুল ঘুরতে ঘুরতে অনেক কিছু দেখলাম অনেক কিছু জানলাম । দুপুরের খাবার সময় হয়ে গেছে কলেজ স্ট্রিট এর মোড়ে এসে দিলখুশা কেবিন এ ঢুকে পড়লাম  মটন বিরিয়ানি সাথে চিকেন চাপ খাবার টা জমে গেল। একটু পরে বাইরে এসে বাস ধরে বাড়ি এর দিকে এগোলাম।
